Food & Wine
Virtual companies are competing in the traditional food market. Their goal is to produce and sell wine and gourmet hampers in national and international markets.
Human Resources
Human Resources is a business game designed to test and practise human resource management skills. It is played in teams.
What are business games?
Our business games simulate a competitive environment in a virtual market. Players take on the roles of company managers and compete against each other. Competition can be either individual or team based.
Like any game, our business game is based on a scenario. One time, you might be running a start-up that develops mobile applications; the next, you might be a manufacturing company manager aiming to increase the company’s value to investors within three years. Or your task might be to build a team with which you will start a completely new business.
The main objective of our games is to increase the value of your company. At the end of the game, the company is valued as if it were being sold to an investor. This means that its financial performance is considered alongside the value of the brand, market share and, in some cases, the team’s expertise.
Players
- create a strategy and implement it in a competitive environment,
- test the impact of their decisions and realise how they influence each other,
- test teamwork, team negotiation, and self-assertion,
- test their abilities and compare themselves with others,
- can experience the role of someone else in the company,
- learn not only from the course of the game, but also from its evaluation, which is the final phase of our games. During this phase, teams present their strategies and key decisions to each other.
The organiser
Improve employees‘ knowledge and improve their skills in an entertaining way.
During the game the organiser can see:
- how players react in different situations,
- how they assert themselves, how they cooperate,
Games can be used for training and preparing talent for management positions, as well as in assessment centres and for team building. They can also be used to raise the company’s profile or in recruitment.
Technical requirements
The games are played online. All you need is a licence and a web browser on a computer with an internet connection. Everything runs in the cloud, so there’s no need to download any files or install any applications.
Knowledge of English is advantageous. We will provide a basic glossary of terms used in the game and explain the principles in Czech.
Support and moderation
If you would like more support, we can provide a moderator to explain how the game is played, guide you through it, and help you with the final presentations and discussion. Support will be available online.
