CEO of POWER PATTERNS s.r.o. Petr Kučera held a lecture at the SMART BUSINESS FESTIVAL organized by CZECHINNO under the patronage of Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, and Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in the section “Futorology Consulting”.

The lecture was on the use of educational business games for training and selection of prospective employees for managerial positions.

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into force on 25 May 2018 and will bring substantial changes in the area of data protection in companies. In certain cases it will required that a company instates a so called Data Protection Officer (DPO).

POWER PATTERNS announces that we were authorised as a STREAM Software Consultant. STREAM Integrated Risk Manager is a fast, flexible and scalable cybersecurity GRC (Governance, Risk management and Compliance) software tool developed by London based company Acuity Risk Management. We have chosen Acuity’s STREAM for its user friendly interface and methodology driven approach. It allows you to integrate multiple cyber security standards and regulations into your ISMS, including ISO 27001, PCI-DSS and NIST frameworks. We participate in  the course “Software quality – Software without bugs is an illusion.” that is organised by TATE International as a part of ICT Management Academy. The course will be held 7^th and 8^th June 2016.

We will be present at E-learning forum 2016 on May 17th in hotel Barceló, Prague.

20.11. 2014 Power Patterns participated in the organisation of the conference „Budoucnost eGovernmentu v ČR“ (Future of eGovernment in the Czech Republic), which took place in premises of The Czech National Bank. Petr Kučera gave a speech on the “Strength and Weaknesses of the Czech eGovernment” here.

The key speaker at this conference was the Czech Digital Champion Mr. Ondřej Felix who presented the eGovernment development plans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

19.11. 2014 We secured the participation of one of our clients on the Fujitsu Forum in Munich, https://www.fujitsu.com/global/microsites/fujitsu-forum-2014/

On 29 and 30 October2014 we lectured on the course “Enterprise Architecture” organised in co-operation with Tate International s.r.o.

1.10. 2014 Petr Kučera presented products of various Czech companies at the Czech-Malaysian ICT forum held in Kuala Lumpur. The whole event was very well prepared in co-operation with the Czech ICT Alliance and the Embassy of the Czech Republic headed by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Malaysia, H.E. Rudolf Hynek with the excellent support of Mr. Vojtěch Hromek, Economic Officer at the Embassy.
